A wavetable is a sequence of single cycle waveforms a synth sweeps through to create evolving timbres. This tool builds single cycles and sequences in different ways and exports a standard WAV file for Wavefield, or synths like Serum, Vital, etc. It is expressly designed for making wavetables that create interesting filter motion in Wavefield, but any table you download works in synths too.

Segments: the timeline at the top is your full wavetable. Each colored block runs an algorithm from the left panel, and the morph parameter on that algorithm changes from the start of the segment to the end, so a single segment already gives you motion. Click + Add for more, drag the dividers between them to set how much of the wavetable each one occupies. Selecting a segment shows its parameters and the Modifiers row (direction, depth, phase, invert, mirror).

Keyframes: drop WAV files onto slots to assemble a wavetable from your own single cycles or existing tables. "Wavefield Keyframe Import" exports just the slots you set up (Wavefield distributes them across its 20 keyframe slots on import). "Interpolated Wavetable" fills in extra frames by blending between adjacent slots for a smooth morph.

Single Cycle: design one cycle from scratch using up to 4 layers, each a base shape or math expression with its own warp chain (wavefold, FM, bitcrush, additive shape, and more), combined by sum, multiply, ring, or min. Pick a preset to start, edit the layers, then Download WAV or Send to Keyframes to drop it into the Keyframes tab.

Auditioning and export: the visualizations preview the current frame as a 3D view, waveform, and harmonic spectrum. Scrub the frame slider or enable Sweep to auto-cycle, press Play to hear the current frame at the selected note. When you are happy with the result, set your frame count and size and click "Download WAV". Enable "Smooth boundaries" if your synth or sampler clicks at frame seams or single cycle wrap points.
